Get down wit it

Okay, we're officially 48 hours away from shuffling in to the main event. It's all in place.

Hump Day

We are quickly approaching the main event and I am still completely amazed at how many people have stepped up to help make this event the best one ever. One great example is our silent auction, below are some items you can expect to bid on this year: - 4 Braves tickets and a parking pass for the 6/28 game against the Nationals - golf for four at Reynolds Plantation on one of the following courses: The Landing, The Plantation, The National or Great Waters.

Sponsors

A note to my sponsors: To Richland Creek, Mark, Chad...you guys and your crew are absolutely awesome for your willingness to host us. Not only that, you've gone above and beyond providing the venue by helping donate items to the auction AND by donating to Relay as well on behalf of the event and our team. That's just amazing.. To Blue Giraffe Salon and Spa, Not only do you guys provide me with the greatest hair cut, but you have helped a great deal to making this thing be the best year we've had this decade.

Brycentennial week approacheth

So tomorrow starts the "Brycentennial week." We are moving closer and closer to the big event and I am amazed at how many people have stepped up to help out with this thing. When I started planning the 10th annual event, I had no clue what to expect..I had a wife that was 7-8 months pregnant, I was looking at a new location and I was approaching people that had barely heard about what we do.

And so it is...

If you’re reading this, then you already know….I’ve started a blog. I’m not really sure what you may be coming to expect here (depending on how well we know each other), but you HAVE come here because this has peeked your interest. So let’s delve into just what we’re all about, shall we? My thought is to start us off with a journey that introduces you into this whole thing. I was a 19 year old college kid at the University of Georgia when the first “Brycentennial” actually took place.
